Rita Avila remembered her late son Elia Jesu on what would have been his 18th birthday, saying it is a privilege to have an “angel son.”
The actress honored Jesu through her Instagram page on Sunday, Nov. 10, showing herself holding her child’s urn.
Article continues after this advertisement“Today marks the 18th birthday on earth of my angel son, Elia Jesu,” she said. “Nung itinabi ang urn ng mom ko sa urn niya sa crypt, napaka-cute pala sa liit ‘yung urn!”

“Marahil ay lutang ako nung inilibing noon si Jesu kaya hindi ko maalala,” she recalled. “Ngayon, lutang na ako sa saya dahil pribilehiyo ang magka-anak ng tunay na anghel sa langit.”

Avila and her husband, filmmaker FM Reyes, celebrated the occasion over a meal, as seen in a separate Instagram post.

Concluding her post, she added, “Angels live forever.”
